KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – The Executive and Compensation Committee of the University of Tennessee Board of Trustees will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 14, in Knoxville. The meeting will be held in the Executive Dining Room in the University Center. Agenda items include a report from President John Petersen on budget reduction and draft framework of the process to discontinue academic programs, planning for the winter board meeting Feb. 26-27 and recommendation to grant tenure to Chancellor-elect Jimmy Cheek in his faculty appointment at UT Knoxville.
